Death of the TPP or TPPA

There is no way Obama’s signature trade deal will pass now that Donald Trump has been elected and Republicans control both houses. He hasn’t even taken office yet, and is already making campaign promises come true.

Matthew Conclusion: Tran Pacific Partnership is dead; but is it? Or we’re just getting our hopes up

TTIP – a threat to our food standards?

Something has been rumbling on behind closed doors, with the potential to seriously harm standards of farming and food production across Britain and Europe. Most people remain unaware of the risks and have not been given the chance to vote on the proposal. It’s called the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, or TTIP for short.

TPP Grants Banks Terrifying Secret Powers

“In March 2014, the Bank of England let the cat out of the bag: money is just an IOU, and the banks are rolling in it. So wrote David Graeber in The Guardian the same month, referring to a BOE paper called “Money Creation in the Modern Economy.” The paper stated outright that most common assumptions of how banking works are simply wrong. The result, said Graeber, was to throw the entire theoretical basis for austerity out of the window.

The revelation may have done more than that. The entire basis for maintaining our private extractive banking monopoly may have been thrown out the window. And that could help explain the desperate rush to “fast track” not only the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), but the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA). TiSA would nip attempts to implement public banking and other monetary reforms in the bud.”

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts : TPP (“trade deals”) & the New World Order

MP3 & SHOW NOTES: http://themindrenewed.com/interviews/… Dr. Roberts shares with us his analysis of the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) and other so-called “trade deals” such as TTIP and TiSA, and raises the question as to whether we are seeing, in these developments, the dawn of the New World Order.

“There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always—do not forget this, Winston—always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever.” (Orwell, 1984)

Canada’s new progressive government just announced they won’t sign the dangerous Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) next month — at least not until there’s been a full national consultation.

Our new Prime Minister needs to follow suit, and consult with the Australian public about their concerns over this shameless corporate power grab in disguise.

The TPP threatens our environment, access to medicine, national sovereignty, right to privacy and more. Sign the petition and call on our Government to follow the Canadian Trudeau Government’s lead. Continue reading Canada cools on TPP

Obama to Expand Modern-Day Slave Trade With TPP

President inviting slave-trading countries to join trade agreement

Not long after the White House invited Thailand to join the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the AP reported the country was relying on slave labor to ship shrimp to the U.S.

And it’s unlikely Thailand’s billion-dollar slave industry would prevent it from joining the TPP considering that Obama previously removed an anti-slavery provision from the TPP and also allowed Vietnam to join the partnership despite its flourishing slave trade.
