A fed-up father has pulled his son out of school and has accused staff of brainwashing children, after the climate movement made its way in to his son’s Year 4 classroom.Around the country thousands of students have taken to the streets to protest on climate change, but Matthew Karlos is infuriated about the topic being taught at his son’s state school claiming, “it’s ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.”Mr Karlos’ 10-year-old son Max told A Current Affair reporter Pippa Bradshaw “they asked us all to dress up as hippies, and sing this song, big yellow taxi.””We shouldn’t be worrying about the end of the world,” he said.Agreeing with his son, Mr Karlos claims, “it’s just brainwashing the younger generations.”

The father and son duo are taking a stand against climate change activism.”They shouldn’t be teaching kids that, and yeah we shouldn’t toss away our rubbish like I said before, but we shouldn’t be worrying about the end of the world,” Max said.

The climate change debate has been front-and-centre of late after 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg called out politicians at the 2019 Climate Action Summit in New York on September 23, telling world leaders, “We will never forgive you.”

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison responded to her controversial speech, emphasizing, “I think we’ve got to caution against raising the anxieties of children.”When Max was told that one of his last days of the term, would be a ‘Greenie day’ it was the final straw for the young boy and his dad.”All the other kids, ’cause (sic) we were all in the one class at the time, they were all going, yay we can dress up as hippies, and I just said, what’s so good about it? There’s nothing good about them,” Max said.

“They just sit around doing nothing all day.”Students were also expected to sing to the go-to environmental song Big Yellow Taxi, written by Joni Mitchell, which has been covered numerous times, including by pop band Counting Crows.Mr Karlos had already kept Max home weeks earlier when students were asked to give a speech on the environment.

“It was to do with mankind induced climate change and all this business they carry on about now,” he said. This father, who is a second generation water farmer, has long had a beef with greenies, who are against his water harvesting business in northern New South Wales. “They don’t like the trucks on the road, they don’t like this, they don’t like that you know, so here we are” he said.

And now he’s had enough of his son also getting the greenie message at his state school.”You’ve gotta (sic) teach kids to be happy and positive and it’s all well and good to be concerned about the environment and wanting to teach kids good practices and basically not be grubs and throw litter around and this sort of thing, but you don’t have to be a greenie to do that,” he said.Parenting expert Dr Justin Coulson believes teachers are better off keeping the message positive, when it comes to primary school children.

Greta Thunberg has drawn worldwide attention. (A Current Affair)

“We just want to be careful in an education context that we don’t cross into the political sphere too much … you don’t have to be a believer or a skeptic to buy into the fact that it’s a good idea to talk positively about what we can do to make our planet healthier,” Mr Coulson said.Mr Karlos believes scenes of protesting around the country, as well as activist Greta Thunberg speaking out, amounts to brainwashing.”The fact that you’ve got supposed adults … pushing ideas on a 16 year old girl and using her as a pawn, is just disgusting; it’s child abuse,” he said.

Max will start at a new school next term. (A Current Affair)

“Just stop brainwashing the kids and being negative and teach them how to be positive about making good positive changes for the world, not all doom and gloom.”In a statement to A Current Affair, a spokesperson for the New South Wales Department of Education said, “studying controversial issues is acceptable for educational purposes.”Max will now start at a new school at the beginning of term four.

Surveillance to make sure farmers look after their animals properly recommended

A taskforce established by the Agriculture Minister to look at animal welfare issues around the practice of winter grazing has made a raft of recommendations.

They include expanding knowledge of barriers to adopting improved animal welfare practices, and more active surveillance to ensure animal welfare standards are being met.

Winter grazing sees stock given access to a measured area of forage and shifted in a controlled manner. But the practice has been under the spotlight after photos of mudbound cows in Southland and Otago were released by environmentalist Angus Robson.

“Images of cows up to their knees in mud, unable to lie down and rest and calving in these conditions is unacceptable to me and I’ve heard loud and clear from the public that it’s unacceptable to them too,” Damien O’Connor said in August, setting up the taskforce in response.

The taskforce included industry group representatives and farmers, as well as Robson.

O’Connor said it’s made 11 recommendations to improve animal welfare in intensive winter grazing farm systems.

“I asked the taskforce to do a stocktake of the multiple initiatives that are already underway to promote good winter grazing and identify where we might work more together to improve practices.”

A pan-sector action group would also be set up to implement the recommendations.

“Winter crop grazing is necessary in some parts of the country to provide enough feed for stock at a time when there’s not a lot of pasture, but we must ensure farmers have the right tools and advice to ensure animal welfare.

“As a Government, we’re committed to working alongside farmers to maintain their ability to export on our valuable New Zealand brand and open up new trading markets. Our international reputation depends on getting this sort of thing right, as does our social licence to operate within New Zealand.”

Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) would work with farmers and industry groups to ensure farmers get the help they need.

“I know that many farmers are already changing and adapting their practice and I thank them for the effort. We want to help in that work,” said O’Connor.

“The next step will be the establishment of an action group to begin implementing the recommendations so we can see some progress next winter and beyond”.

Eco Liberty Conclusion: It’s that true about the surveillance on Farmers in the name of Animal Welfare in New Zealand; farmer should be concerned about their privacy . Animal Rights Activist have already for surveillance on slaughterhouses according to Brisbane Times Also in the UK according to the The Guardian All slaughterhouses in England will be fitted with compulsory CCTV under plans to be unveiled on Friday by environment secretary Michael Gove, as part of a series of measures to bolster welfare standards and enforce laws against animal cruelty.
To all Farmer if you’re for defending your right to privacy and your livelihood you would no to government surveillance on the farms. Farmers do have their own surveillance system install on their own for security and protecting their property; also catching trespassers and invaders; as well addressing issues that have occur on the farm.
Let say “no” to government surveillance on the farms and protect their farms and their privacy.

Mayor Michael Feyen On Industrial Hemp, ALLCAPS Podcast

Vinny Eastwood interviewing Michael Feyen The Mayor of the Horowhenua and staunch supporter of industrial Hemp and the potential benefits it could bring his region. http://www.horowhenua.govt.nz
The conversation takes a turn as the correctly titled ‘Right Honorable’ Mayor explains the constraints upon his position,
and the difficulties he’s faced as a local leader trying to get central government (or even his own district councilors) to listen to information about Hemp.
But even then, if they did listen, the laws would then need to be “okayed” by “local government New Zealand” which isn’t even a government department!
It’s an unelected private corporate governance body who unbeknownst to even the interviewer (and likely most of the country) essentially can control how our nations regions are governed and even outrank our own elected representatives!
The ultimate conclusion of this discovery is that Cannabis laws can’t be changed at the local level and need to be changed at the central government level, which is exactly what ALCP is here to do!
Thanks for watching!

The NZ Govt is teaching your child that Class 1A ecotoxin 1080, banned by most countries, is ‘not very dangerous to humans’

The Indoctrination in New Zealand is here. The NZ govt is now teaching child about 1080 (Sodium Fluoroacetate ) is safe and it’s okay to rain it upon the forest. In a fact that  teaspoon of 1080 is enough to kill over a 100 people. If know something toxic you would want to keep you children away from it so they don’t either get sick or die from it. You would not certainly teach or mislead your children; telling that 1080 is safe; in fact it’s not. If person thinks 1080 is safe; they’re more than screwed over; they’re mislead about the danger of 1080 poison.

Rangitikei Environmental Health Watch

Over all, this item featuring a Year 10 Science book & its fairly ho hum description of the toxicity of 1080, appears to be normalizing the use of poisons.

Dr Meriel Watts says about 1080 poison:

“1080 is classed by the World Health Organisation as an Extremely Hazardous pesticide (Class 1a WHO). You may not be aware that as such it falls within the category of Highly Hazardous Pesticides for which the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) is seeking a global phase out.

There is no antidote for 1080. Poisoned  by it, you have no hope of being saved. However, our esteemed authorities in higher places have seen fit to describe it to our children as not very dangerous to humans. Wherever you stand on the use of 1080, be it for or against, I would…
