Large-scale industrial farmers are pushing for changes that would make it harder for states to further regulate the way they do business.
WASHINGTON — All hogs in Massachusetts will be able to stretch their legs and turn around in their crates and all hens will be able to spread their wings under a law passed in November by voters in the state.
Laws like this one, which strictly regulate how farm animals are confined, are becoming more common across the U.S., as large-scale farming replaces family farms and consumers learn more about what happens behind barn doors. Massachusetts is the 12th state to ban the use of some livestock- and poultry-raising cages or crates, such as gestation crates for sows, veal crates for calves or battery cages for chickens, which critics say abusively restrict the animals’ movement. In this special US Election Day episode of the Keiser Report from New York City, Max and Stacy report from outside the Javits Center, where Hillary Clinton took the stage at the event that she and most pollsters and media thought would celebrate her victory. What went wrong? Former North Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Randy Voller tells Keiser Report that Hillary failed to bring in the working class vote. Author and former banker Mitch Feierstein suggests it was her alleged corruption. And credit analyst and Trump supporter Chris Whalen says that, in the end, Hillary just didn’t have the message that resonated with voters and it was Trump who had momentum and message.
Matthew Concludes: Oh well I’m felt sorry for the Hillary Supporters oh well that too bad that Donald Trump won the election. Thing is I’m proud of Trump’s victory not because I’m willing to supporter the winning team because I did my research on both Clinton and Trump so I know what Trump stands for also know what Clinton stand for. People in California don’t call themselves American but call themselves Californian because they can’t stand have a culture becoming healthy because they love the culture of illusion and falsehood. That why they call for a Calexit because they can’t stand integrity and dignity so they want to have country to base they illusion and falsehood which Hollywood is based. Hollywood is all about status and showing off; it also a very cliquish, exclusives and secretive society to be in. Hollywood is a place of materialism, hedonism, narcissism and dissatisfaction and it’s place of that is not based on morals. For me I like to live a culture based on integrity and dignity not a culture base on materialism, illusion and lacks integrity.
