A GREEN MP has called on Parliament to impose a tax on meat to cut greenhouse gas emissions and reduce climate change.

Caroline Lucas told delegates at the Oxford Farming Conference an overhaul of Britain’s agri-industrial food system is needed because it is in “crisis” and is favouring consolidation at the expense of human health, ecology and the livelihoods of farmers. In a speech entitled ‘A radical new vision for British agriculture’ delivered on Friday, Ms Lucas set out her vision for farming which included greater attention to animal welfare, fewer pesticides, a reduction in food waste, and adopting a diet with less meat and dairy products. Half of all farmed animal emissions come from beef and lamb, according to research by scientists Joseph Poore and Thomas Nemecek.

Ms Lucas referred to MP Claire Perry, who said if the Cabinet ate less beef to set an example it would lead to the introduction of a “nanny state”.

Ms Lucas said: “At the risk of incurring the wrath of the energy secretary in particular who said recently that encouraging people to eat less meat would be ‘the worst sort of nanny state ever’, I’d add that we need serious consideration of measures like a meat tax, particularly for beef.

“I accept that British sheep farming is one of the least intensive forms of livestock farming so perhaps a banded system according to production would help, offset for more sustainable meat producers through increased revenue from targeted agri-environment schemes.”

But NFU vice president Stuart Roberts hit back at her demands, tweeting: “We all share the ambition to address climate change but taxing isn’t the way.

“There’s great potential for market based drivers and future agriculture policy to underpin our positive direction of travel without looking at regressive tax solution. Let’s see market-based solutions.”

Earlier in the week, Minettte Batters, president of the National Farmers’ Union called for zero farming emissions by 2040.

Ms Lucas said she felt “encouraged” to hear her comments and hopes she can count on the NFU to support her amendment to the Agriculture Bill to achieve it.

During a speech at the conference this week, Ms Batters said: “Our aim must be ambitious: to get our industry to net zero across all greenhouse gas inventories by 2040 or before.”

But critics argue that poor people will be hit hardest by a meat tax and say it will not bring greenhouse gas emissions down to safe levels.

Nick Allen, head of the British Meat Processors Association, said: “We have one of the best grass growing climate in the world. So we have the ability to turn good grass into good meat better than anyone else.

“I don’t believe it would achieve the desired result.”

Ms Lucas tweeted: “We need huge reduction in meat-eating to avoid climate breakdown. Better manure management and selection of feed can reduce farming emissions – but need to consider potential of #Meattax too.”

One person tweeted back: “So a regressive #Meattax is the answer? Let’s make meat a luxury item for the well-off, no @CarolineLucas. Don’t blame ordinary people for climate change, lecturing them about what they eat.”

Eco Liberty Conclusion:
Yes there is a war on meat eater in the UK in the name of stop climate change bringing forth Agenda 21, Making people eat one of the most unhealthiest diet in the world which is call the Vegan diet. And I do the fact to backup why the Vegan diet is one of the most unhealthiest diet in the world. On sv3rige Youtube channel he interview ex-vegan to allow them to share their story and why going on the vegan diet long-term is a very unhealthy idea. Here one the most recent ex-vegan video on sv3rige channel

I have watch a lot of sv3rige ex-vegan interviews. Why meat is important food the human body many have been brainwash that the Vegan most healthiest and the peaceful diet on earth and in fact it’s the polar opposite. Why the media and government pushing one of most unhealthiest diet on earth and saying that it healthy in fact it’s not. That type movement to push Veganism and bring forth meat prohibition is going to kill a lot people. That we need to expose that animal rights movement, climate movement and any other movements that push veganism, meat and dairy prohibition, Carbon Dioxide Reduction (which is plant food), Geo engineering the climate to stop climate change; and human extinction. They’re there to destroy the environment and life on Earth. Those movement are fund by the elites to brainwash people to push their agenda.

More countries are saying “No” to the United Nations Migration Pact

Many countries are not fooling for that United Nation Migration Pact. Because millions of people in Europe are Waking Up are no longer fooling that United Nation because they know its invasion. Countries like Poland, Hungary, Austria and any more are saying “No” to the United Nations Migration Pact because they know what it is and they’re not fooling for it.

The Migrant Caravan have arrived at the USA and Mexico border and are already trying to get through.

They’re not migrants, they’re invaders and Trump know that; that’s why there are troops at the border to protect it

Poland stands with Hungary against EU and will veto any sanctions against the country

Poland’s foreign ministry in Warsaw has noted it’s “concern” over Wednesday’s decision by Euro deputies to trigger a punitive procedure against Hungary citing [trumped up]accusations of flouting EU rules on democracy, civil rights and corruption.

The country announced it stands with Hungary against the EU and will veto any sanctions against its ideological ally. The foreign ministry said it “has noted with concern [Wednesday’s] decision of the European Parliament supporting the motion to trigger Art. 7.1 of the Treaty on European Union against Hungary.”

Adding: “Each EU Member State has a sovereign right to carry out the internal reforms that it considers appropriate.”

The European Commission took the step of triggering Article 7 of the EU Treaty against Poland in December. At that time, Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen pledged his country’s defence of Poland against the “unjust” and “political” measures by the EU, stating that it was unacceptable for Brussels to put pressure on sovereign EU member states, arbitrarily punishing democratically elected governments.

The Polish foreign ministry said after yesterday’s vote, “measures taken against Member States lead only to the deepening of divisions within the European Union, by increasing the current distrust of citizens in European institutions.”

Yesterday’s vote was deemed successful to trigger Article 7, however, there have been several challenges to the legality of it. Article 354 TFEU says that Article 7 requires two-thirds “of the votes cast”, therefore not including abstainers. The results of the vote were: 448 Yes; 197 No; 48 Abstain. Without the abstainers, it is clearly NOT two-thirds in favour of enacting Article 7 against Hungary.

Zoltan Kovacs, Government Spokesman, Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary, said in a tweet: “It’s called FRAUD. EU Treaty clear about voting rules: requires 2/3 of all present. Do the math: 448 Yes; 197 No; 48 Abstain. That ain’t 2/3.

Irony? Pro-migration MEPs bashing Hungary for allegedly violating the rule of law resort to violating the rule of law to pass resolution.”

Poland’s foreign ministry has said in a statement posted on its website that Poland will “vote against any possible sanctions” that could be “imposed on Hungary within … European institutions”.

Stay Strong Poland, Hungarians and Czech Republic

Czechs, Hungarians, and Poles have one month to start taking migrants

The European Commission has given the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland one month to change their minds on participating in the EU’s migrant relocation scheme.

“There is still time to change everything and come back to normality,” said EU migration commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos on Wednesday (26 July).

Refugees that are not Refugees but a UN Invasion 21 plan

A United Nations document from 2000 exposes “The Great People Replacement” as their final solution. Offered as a solution for the unsustainable entitlement states of Europe, it is now being implemented by the EU superstate as “refugee quotas”. But it’s not about responding to unforeseen tragedies and wars that create refugees. David Knight breaks down the UN’s plan for a 21st Century invasion and subjugation of the West.

My Conculusion: I glab that countries like Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary are saying no to raising Refugee the quotas and I’m glab they’re rebeling against the EU refugee quotas. But here in New Zealand I look at 4 political parties; National will increase refugee quotas from 750 to 1,000; Labour to increase to 1,500; The Opportunties Party (TOP)to increase to 3,000; but the Green to increase to 5,000. But according the article in the NZ Herald Political Roundup: Increasing the refugee quota to 60,000. 60,000! this is 12 times more the Green and who idea is that. He say that “we want to do what Sweden is doing.” Sweden is the rape capital of europe; The person idea to increase the refugee to 60,000 is a extremilty bad idea because for what happening in Sweden after bringing in tens of thousands immigrats and having open border polies which I’m against. I’m not against migrats and foreginers and happy to have them experince the country I live in as long they abide and respect the laws. Another thing that New Zealand has a housing crisis and if they want more miagrats; the housing crisis need to be addressed and sorted.

Let use our brains not our emotions.

Hello there I decide to write about the refugee crisis which took me a long time to get my head about this topic. As I watch the mainstream news about the refugee and migrant crisis I see some woman and child just try to make it like a refugee. As I did more research about the refugee and migrant crisis, watch youtube video about the refugee and migrant crisis. Why you should not believe in the mainstream media when they talk about the refugee crisis and there is many reason why.

Brexit begins: Date Article 50 will be triggered to start process of UK leaving EU now confirmed

Source:RT
Date: 20 March 2017

Prime Minister Theresa May will trigger Article 50 on March 29, formally starting the process for Britain to leave the European Union.

May will write to the EU next Wednesday announcing the beginning of Brexit. It will start the clock on a two-year countdown to Brexit and allow negotiations between London and Brussels to begin.

Tim Barrow, the UK’s ambassador to the EU, formally notified the office of the EU Council President Donald Tusk on Monday morning, the Telegraph reports.

The PM’s official spokesman said: “We said it would be by the end of March and thought it would be helpful to say when it will happen.

“We want negotiations to start promptly. We expect it will be a two-year process and we are confident that is what we will achieve. So Britain will exit the EU on 29 March 2019.”

The UK “expects to receive a response within 48 hours,” the spokesman added.

Talks on the terms of the departure and future relations are not allowed under the Article 50 process until the UK formally tells the EU it is leaving.

If negotiations go according to the timetable, a Brexit should be achieved by March 2019.

Downing Street says there are no plans for an early election, according to Sky News.

EU Commission chief spokesman Margaritis Schinas told reporters at a briefing in Brussels that eurocrats were ready to begin talks “immediately” and that they had a comprehensive plan in place.

“Everything is ready on this side.

“The first step after the notification will be the adoption of guidelines by the European Council, which is the political reaction.

“The European Commission will then immediately – and I mean immediately – issue a recommendation for the negotiations. This is the legal mandate and after this draft recommendation the European Council will formally adopt the mandate to the EU negotiator Michel Barnier.”

Responding to the announcement, Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union David Davis issued a statement.

“Last June, the people of the UK made the historic decision to leave the EU. Next Wednesday, the Government will deliver on that decision and formally start the process by triggering Article 50,” he said.

“We are on the threshold of the most important negotiation for this country for a generation.

“The government is clear in its aims: a deal that works for every nation and region of the UK and indeed for all of Europe – a new, positive partnership between the UK and our friends and allies in the European Union.”

Rumors that May would trigger Article 50 last week were quashed by sources close to the PM, after Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon declared her desire for a second independence referendum. That led to speculation that May did not want to appear cavalier about the future of the UK.

The PM’s spokesperson said Barrow had a conversation with Tusk’s office earlier on Monday morning to give the EU notice of the date.

“There will be a letter, [May] will notify president Tusk in writing, and the prime minister has already confirmed she will give a statement to parliament as well.

“More details will be given in due course,” he said.

My Conclusion: Nationalism is on the raise. As Untied Kingdom decide to leave the Europe Union since the people voted for UK to leave the European Union. And I heard there are at least several countries in the EU now wanting to leave the EU. Nationalism is on the raise and Globalism is being rejected on a large scale.
