South Africa: Land Reform Approved.

South Africa is moving ahead with land reform set to officially start in March of 2019. Is this only going to make a bad situation worse? Who can help these people? Who is even willing to try?

Eco Liberty Conclusion To the whites in South Africa “I hope you’re ready for what is coming; by March 2019 when the government move ahead with Land Reform to seizure land from the white people without compensation. This what happen in Zimbabwe back in in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s which lead to economic hardship and poverty including Zimbabwe hyperinflation. But now Robert Mugabe is out of office the new government decide to invite the white farmer back to help Zimbabwe economy recover.

Lauren Southern: South Africa Is a ‘Human Rights Crisis

Breitbart

Author and documentary filmmaker Lauren Southern discussed why the mainstream media doesn’t want to cover the human rights crisis in South Africa during an appearance on SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Sunday.

“The media has for so long said that Mandela’s socialist, left-wing, multicultural South Africa was going to be one of the most successful nations we’ve ever seen,” declared Southern to host Breitbart News Deputy Political Editor Amanda House. “They said this was going to be the ‘Rainbow Nation’, that it was going to show what a Marxist paradise could be… That collapsed. It failed. The Rand started failing, crime went up, the country is in shambles, and race relations are in shambles, so it makes them look very silly to report on the state of South Africa and its failures today.”

“The second issue, of course, is the extreme, anti-white rhetoric in the media. They cannot accept the notion that white people can be victims,” Southern continued. “They cannot accept the notion that there can be discrimination by government against white people, because to admit that is to rescind all of the narrative they’ve built up for Western people that white people are always privileged, and that of course would also be embarrassing for them. So to not report on South Africa is entirely about keeping up appearances.”

Southern also praised President Donald Trump for speaking out about this issue on Twitter.

“This is something that has been referred to as a conspiracy theory. The left-wing media has been completely silent on it,” said Southern. “Even the right-wing media up until a certain point were silent on it, so to have Donald Trump tweet about the seizure of white [owned] land in South Africa, as well as the farm murders, is finally going to put this on the global issues that we’re talking about.”

The only other countries that have really been addressing it have been Russia and Australia, Russia actually taking in white South African migrants under refugee status. Australia discussing doing so,” she continued. “It’s not a conspiracy theory, we know for a fact that white [owned] land is being seized… We know for a fact these murders are going on. Newsweek has reported it, the Telegraph has reported it, the Daily Mail… Tons of mainstream sites have reported there is a far higher representation of white farmers in murders in South Africa than many other groups, so it isn’t a conspiracy theory just to say we should look into it, which is all Donald Trump said. It’s a completely reasonable thing.

“It doesn’t even matter what scale [the violence is]. I’m actually quoted in my documentary saying it’s not a white genocide — yet,” she added. “Sure, it could become like that. We want to be ahead of the curve on things like this, and investigate, and not get into a situation like Rwanda.”

“[South Africa] should be seen as a human rights crisis, no matter if you’re left-wing or right-wing. People are being discriminated against based on their race,” Southern proclaimed. “If this were happening in any other country towards any other group, it would be international press all day long, but it’s white people, so they’re silent.”

In the end, Lauren said, “it’s not just the whites that are going to suffer when white [owned] farms are taken away. These farmers were feeding 2,000 people each. What happens when you get rid of that food source? You have little black kids, little white kids, little Indian kids, all of them starving. Starvation doesn’t care about your skin color.”

South Africa Leader Behind Land Theft Slams Trump

South African figurehead Julius Malema called President Trump a “pathological liar” after Trump formally addressed the unfolding seizure of white-owned lands and killing of white farmers.

“I have asked Secretary of State to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large-scale killing of farmers. ‘South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers.’” President Trump tweeted, crediting the latter quote to Tucker Carlson of Fox News.

Malema, who leads the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), a Marxist political movement aiming to eventually control the South African government, responded to President Trump and the US government from the EFF Twitter account.

“Be that as it may, we must put it on record, unequivocally, that Donald ‘the pathological liar’ Trump, we are not scared of you and your USA or Western imperialist forces,” EFF wrote, quoting Malema. “We are not the generation that is going to kneel at the statue of Western imperialism and accept to live in the indignity of black landlessness.”

“Furthermore, we want to send a strong message to the USA authorities, just like we did to the Australian authorities, stay out of South Africa’s domestic affairs.”

Malema, a staunch proponent for the seizure of white lands, asserts the ruling African National Congress (ANC) has already selected 150 farms for expropriation prior to the enactment of a proposed constitutional amendment, but he accuses the ANC of stealing credit for his scheme in order to gain local support.

“Thus, the ANC plan to expropriate 150 farms before a constitutional amendment is a populist move seeking to take credit in the eyes of public opinion,” Malema is quoted as saying. “So all white people who will be losing farms, it will be first the farms that they in the moment do not use or where there is actually no production taking place.”

“Then we will come for farms where there is actual production or business taking place for the purposes of black inclusion. In distributing those farms, there will be absolute prioritization of black people who are the natives of this land.”

The South African government has already begun to seize land, as reports surfaced this week about two farms targeted for expropriation.

“Government has begun unilaterally expropriating farms against which land claims have been lodged and where price negotiations with owners have stalled,” City Press reported on August 19th. “Two game farms in Limpopo appear to be the first properties that will be expropriated without following a court process.”

“A letter written to Akkerland Boerdery, owners of a luxury hunting farm in Makhado in Limpopo, read in part: ‘Notice is hereby given that a terrain inspection will be held on the farms on April 5, 2018, at 10 am in order to conduct an audit of the assets and a handover of the farm’s keys to the state.’

City Press also reports that 139 farms have been selected for expropriation without compensation by the ANC in the coming weeks.

My Conclusion: I glad when Donald Trump address about land grab in South Africa but the South Africa Government is not happy about Trump speaking out against Farmland garb in South Africa; it’s like they do not want any other countries speaking out about it.

Press release: Land grabbing and just governance discussed in a unique pan-African conference starting today ahead of Pope’s visit to Africa.
The conference takes place ahead of Pope Francis’ visit to Kenya, Uganda and Central African Republic.

The conference will highlight the state of land grabbing in Africa, cases of resistance across the continent, as well as Church responses and its increasing engagement on issues of land grabbing.

Land grabbing is a serious problem across Africa, requiring urgent attention since it threatens livelihoods and food security. It has already dislocated hundreds of thousands of people from their lands, deprived them of natural sources, and threatened their livelihoods.
Land grabbing and just governance, issues that constitute a significant threat to food sovereignty, will be discussed at the conference “Land Grab and Just governance in Africa”, opening today in Nairobi, Kenya, and organized by SECAM (Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar) with the collaboration of AEFJN (Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network), AFJN (Africa Faith & Justice Network) and CIDSE (network of Catholic development agencies). The event will gather about 150 participants from the African continent and beyond, including many people directly involved in land grabbing struggles.

Why we must defend our farmland and our food sovereign?

Food is extremity important for us as human being as well for animals. Both flora (plant life) and fauna (animal life) all require land to live in and roam about. For us as human being we use to land to live to grow foods and medicine to support our selves. We have government officials that want to pass laws to take away the individual’s right to have land, and to able our their own food and medicine to support themselves; because they think they know best that the government (Communism) or Corporations (Fascism) should be the ones they should be the only ones that they provide that public. This undermine the food and health security also our biodiversity; that will bring forth poverty, malnutrition, famine, sickness and disease to the people. People have the right to grow and produce food and medicine to support themselves and others. Governments our elected by the people to protect their rights not pass laws to undermine it. Australia’s largest and oldest dairy farm has been effectively sold for $220 million to Chinese owners. Herman Shao-ming Hu and Kenny Zhang are finalising the purchase of a majority interest in the 190-year-old Van Diemen’s Land Company (VDL) in Tasmania.

A Van Diemen’s Land Company farm at Woolnorth in Tasmania.

The near-completed deal comes in the same week as federal parliament prepares to debate the Chinese-Australia free-trade agreement, and will be a test of Treasurer Scott Morrison’s attitude to foreign investment.

Mr Hu and Mr Zhang through their respective companies, Ryoden Development and the Australia-registered Waratah Corporation, will each buy about 35 per cent of VDL from current owner New Zealand’s New Plymouth Council.

The other third of Australia’s biggest single milk producer is set to be bought by the Lempriere Capital equity managers, linked to the Melbourne-based Lempriere family, noted wool traders.

The deal is one of Australia’s biggest agricultural sales to foreign investors and will require approval by the Foreign Investment Review Board as it is significantly larger than the new $15m approval threshold set earlier this year.
